Alex Harford Rather bittersweet given the shock announcement of Embers' split - despite hearing most of the songs before, it's fantastic to hear them all as part of an album - I'm really thankful they've released this. Whether much thought went into the sequence or not - it's really well sequenced! The blast of Sins Unknown into the more subtle Part of the Echoes is an excellent start, and the quality continues throughout. A definite album of the year contender. Favorite track: Hollow Cage.
